Platform Ventures, LLC and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Platform” “we”, “us”, “our”) respect your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes the processing of Personal Information (defined below) that is provided, collected, or disclosed in the course of providing our products or services to you (“Services”) and on the websites, applications, or other platforms that link to this Privacy Notice. It also describes rights you may have under applicable laws. Platform utilizes the Services to provide certain investment management, investor reporting, and communication services to you. “Personal Information” means information that uniquely identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to you.

  • Marketing information, such as information including your preferences for receiving communications about our activities, events, and publications, and details about how you engage with our communications.
  • Other information that we may collect that is not specifically listed here but which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

2. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect Personal Information:

  • Directly From You – We collect Personal Information that you provide to us, for example, if you choose to contact us, request Services or information from us, or sign up to receive updates.
  • From Third Parties – We may collect Personal Information from third parties including, business partners, subcontractors, advertising networks, analytics providers, and search information providers, who may provide us with Personal Information about you.

3. Use and Disclosure of Information

Platform may collect, use, share, and otherwise process your Personal Information for a number of purposes, including, but not limited to:

  • To provide our products and Services to you – We collect your Personal Information when you invest with us and collect your Personal Information related to investing in our platforms.
  • To improve our Services – We may send you announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages and webinars and other training opportunities. We may use your Personal Information to respond to your requests, questions, and feedback. We analyze use of the Services d to develop new products and services, including by studying user demographics.
  • To send you marketing and promotional communications – We may send you marketing communications as permitted by law. You will have the ability to opt-out of our marketing and promotional communications as described in Your Privacy Rights Section below.
  • To comply with law – We use your Personal Information, as we believe necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests from government authorities.

We may use this anonymous, aggregated, or de identified data and share it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze and improve the Service and to promote our business.

4. International Use of Our Services             

Our Services are hosted in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside of the United States, please note that by providing your Personal Information, it is being transferred to, stored, collected, or processed in the United States, where our servers are located and operated.

We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Information. However, despite these efforts to store Personal Information in a secure environment, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Information during its transmission or its storage on our systems.

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage and browser information about how you use our website. We process the information collected through such technologies, which may include or be combined with Personal Information, to help operate certain features of our website, to enhance your experience through personalization, and to help us better understand the features of our website that you and other users are most interested in.

We allow or enable third parties to collect Personal Information in order to provide their interest-based advertising services, and we use Google Ads and other third parties to serve ads for our Services across various websites. We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to assist us with analyzing our website traffic. These services utilize cookies and other technologies that collect your Personal Information. 8. Third-Party Websites

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Services, including the information or content contained within them. 9. Children’s Information

The Service is not directed to, nor does Platform knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13. If you become aware that your child or any child under your care has provided information without your consent, please contact Platform immediately using the contact information provided below.

10. Notice to California Residents

This section applies to our collection and use of Personal Information if you are a resident of California, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and its implementing regulations, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”), where “Personal Information” has the definition set forth in the CCPA.

Other California Privacy Rights

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, individual customers who reside in California and who have an existing business relationship with us may request information about our disclosure of certain categories of Personal Information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes, if any. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by these California privacy rights requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year.

Please note that, even if you unsubscribe from certain correspondence, we may still need to contact you with important transactional or administrative information, as permitted by law. Additionally, if you withdraw your consent or object to processing of your Personal Information, or if you choose not to provide certain Personal Information, we may be unable to provide some or all of our Services to you.

You may also initiate any opt outs by broadcasting an Opt-Out Preference Signal, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor Opt-Out Preference Signals, including GPC. We endeavor to respond to requests within the time period required by applicable law. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.

We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your requests unless they are excessive or repetitive. If we determine that a request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request. We may deny certain requests, or only fulfill some in part, as permitted or required by law. If you are not satisfied with the resolution of your request and you are afforded a right to appeal such decision, you will be notified of our appeal process in our response to your request.
