Ed Horne is the development manager of the Santa Rita Ranch master-planned community, President and CEO of Capitol Realty Advisors, Inc. of Austin, Texas and Senior Advisor to Platform Ventures. Mr. Horne has been in the real estate / homebuilding business since 1976. During that time, Mr. Horne built over 15,000 homes and 4,000 multifamily units, and developed over 20,000 single family lots. He founded Wilshire Homes in 1991,and oversaw the building approximately 10,000 homes in Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. In March 2010, a division of McGuire Homebuilders (MHI Central Texas, LLC) purchased the assets of the homebuilding company. As Vice President of MHI Central Texas, LLC, Mr. Horne managed MHI’s land and lot acquisitions and portfolio until June of 2018. In May 2018, an entity affiliated with Platform Ventures purchased the stock of Scott Felder Homes in Central Texas. In June of 2018, Mr. Horne joined Scott Felder Homes as Vice President. Capitol Realty Advisors, Inc. began in 1986 and specializes in the management of residential developments in the Austin, San Antonio and Houston real estate markets, including Santa Rita Ranch in Liberty Hill, Texas with Platform Ventures.
