Jack Barker, CFA, serves as an Associate. Jack is a generalist with primary responsibilities supporting the acquisitions team in a variety of roles across housing, cold storage, and other real estate verticals.
Prior to joining Platform Ventures, Jack was a deal lead at Liberty Mutual Investment’s Global Private Investments team where he worked across real assets and focused on energy, infrastructure, and timber. Prior to Liberty Mutual Investments, Jack was a member of the management team of a private equity energy and infrastructure company, Corterra Energy.
Most recently, Jack was an assistant investment officer at KPERS where he managed and oversaw the real asset and real estate portfolios.
Jack is a holder of the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a licensed professional engineer. Jack earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
